WATCH announces that the project “Experience for Change within the Cultural Heritage sector” has been entitled to receive a Grant

WATCH announces that the project “Experience for Change within the Cultural Heritage sector” has been entitled to receive a Grant from the Turkey and EU Civil Society Dialogue II: “Culture & Art Component”. Within the scope of the program, a total grant of 2.2 million Euro is allocated to culture and arts projects proposed by non-governmental organizations. Exchange is one of nineteen projects wich were selected out of three hundred proposals. Friends of Cultural Heritage/KUMID-FOCUH (http://www.kumid.eu/en/about.php) Istanbul, Turkey takes part in the project as Project Beneficiary whereas University of Rome “Sapienza”, Italy (http://www.uniroma1.it/default_e.php), University of Kocaeli, Turkey (http://www.kocaeli.edu.tr/int/) and Korfez Municipality (http://www.korfez.bel.tr/tr/Default.aspx) are the Associate Members of the Project. Opening Ceremony of the Program which also includes the aforementioned project was held in Istanbul on May 11, 2011 at The Marmara Esma Sultan Palace-İstanbul, Turkey.
