The first draft of the program of the Festival of the Diversity of  the Cultural Expressions The World in Florence” (“hybrid” format, 16-18 November 2022).

Thanks to the Scientific Committee of the Festival, a unique prestigious group of renowned worldwide experts in heritage protection and enhancement will deliver their keynote lectures and share their experiences with students, graduated, public and private staff and specialists attending the Festival (in Florence or online). Click here to see the tentative program of the Festival.

Within the framework of the project “Learning Journey, places and cultures in transition”, each lecture will be included to one of following three sessions:

  • Heritage Challenges for the Future
  • Heritage for the Planet
  • Heritage for Peace.

Besides, those specialists will also assist and comment the presentations of the cultural storytelling produced by the participants to the Festival, so that the Festival represents for them a real opportunity of learning and upgrading their knowledge in interpretation and communication of the local cultural expressions of their heritage sites.

The participation to the Festival is still possible, by writing to secretarygeneral@fondazione-delbianco.org.

Our association is a no-profit, neutral, global network of Cultural Heritage volunteer stakeholders and experts worldwide who joined with the main objectives to contribute to the safeguarding of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage and to develop an early detection system against the risks of destruction, vandalism, illicit trade, looting, pillaging before, during and after conflict. In other words, we try to contribute to foster the safeguarding of cultural Heritage according to the criteria set by the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.
WATCH makes an effort to secure that only objective and independent information is circulated in all its communication tools.
